    Observations of the state of atmospheric air on the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan are conducted in 26 cities at 66 stationary pollution observation points (POP) and 16 automatic stations. Observations at stationary posts are carried out daily (except Sundays and holidays) with a frequency of 3 times a day (7:00; 13:00; 19:00 local time).

    The Air Pollution Index (API) is an integral indicator of the level of atmospheric air pollution, which is calculated for the five ingredients with the highest concentrations for a given territory, taking into account the hazard class of substances.
